Depart south in the morning, towards Cafayate driving across the mythical Route 40. Your first stop will be at Molinos, for a special detour to the west and higher in the Andes, to Colomé winery, where you will have a private lunch in a winery specialized in high altitude wines and also visit a modern art gallery, the Hess Collection.
Get back to Route 40, to continue driving across the Quebrada de las Flechas, where the wind and rain have shaped slanting lines on the rocks along many kilometers of the winding road.
