Experience San Jose’s best attractions, comfortable sitting in a luxury double decker bus with the best panoramic views of the capital city and countless photo opportunities. Departing from La Sabana Metropolitan Park, in the West side of the city, the route takes in San Jose’s most famous sights; including the Hospital San Juan de Dios, the Mayor Cathedral, the National Theatre and the Plaza de la Cultura, the Democracy Square, the National Museum, Barrio Amon and the Central Market among some other landmarks. The bus ride includes four different stops to get off the bus; the first stop is made at the National Theater and Plaza de la Cultura to learn about one of the most important sights of Costa Rica cultural life (the entrance to the Theatre in not included). The second stop includes a delicious typical lunch in the Restaurant Nuestra Tierra. After lunch, we will take a small walk to see the near-by National Museum and the Democracy Square (the visit to the museum is not included). Barrio Aranjuez and Barrio Amon are two of the most picturesque neighborhoods of the capital city that will be seen during this interesting bus ride. Last stop is made in San Jose’s Central Market to walk through its narrow alleys full of fruits, vegetables, herbal remedies, flowers, handcrafts and nice local stories.
