Galapagos is magical and pristine islands. As this is the home of the most fantastic land and marine species. Animals of features and behaviors unique, which shows what life was like before humans. But the Galapagos Islands are not only landscapes, colors, diversity of types of beaches, pristine ecosystems or amazing animals, but it has the magic to be considered a “living laboratory of evolution.”

  • It is considered the “living laboratory of the evolution” because the animals and plants that came from far away to populate these volcanic islands; they met a very different environmental conditions from their original homes. The species had to adapt quickly to that change and evolve to survive and this is how new species were created.  

  • To be able to meet with these unique species, in their natural pristine environment, is a life experience with no equal. Galapagos is what it is, for being this “living laboratory of evolution” and for being one of the islands on the planet with most striking landscapes, pristine land and marine ecosystems, and a sanctuary of unique and captivating species.

  • DAY 1 GALAPAGOS ISLANDS

    Arrival in the Galapagos Island, your flight will land on Baltra Island where our guide will be waiting to accompany you from the airport to our hotel in Puerto Ayora.

    In the afternoon, your guide will lead a visit to the Charles Darwin Research Station, which was home of the famous hundred-year-old tortoise. Solitary George came from Pinta island and died in June 2012.

    The Station has a visitor center where you will learn about the history of the islands, as well as various enclosures with information detailing conservation programs for the wildlife of the Galapagos.

  • DAY 2 PLAZA ISLAND NAVIGATION

    Lunch is included.
    This small Island is full of fascinating wildlife, at seaside and along the cliffs: Sea Lions, Land Iguanas, Swallow-tailed gulls, Opuntia cacti and vegetation that changes color with the season.

  • DAY 3 SEYMOUR ISLAND NAVIGATION

    Breakfast
    Lunch is included.
    A stroll on flat terrain allows the observation of Palo Santo trees and colonies of blue-footed boobies, swallow-tailed gulls and magnificent frigate birds. Toward the other side of the island, the ocean crashes against rocks and sea lions surf the waves.

  • DAY 4 BARTOLOME or SANFA FE ISLAND NAVIGATION

    Lunch is Included.
    BARTOLOME ISLAND– The trail is a fairly sleep climb on wooden steps to the summit, worth the efforts, as there is a spectacular view of the Galapagos scenery from above. Interesting lava formations and tuff cones can be observed. Sea lions and penguins swim in the vicinity of Pinnacle rock. Enjoy snorkeling or swimming from the beach.

    SANTA FE ISLAND– A shot trek leads through woods of Opuntia cacti and Palo Santo trees. Land Iguanas (endemic to Santa Fe), lava lizards and colonies of sea lions can be observed. There is opportunity to swim and snorkel.

  • DAY 5 GALAPAGOS ISLANDS

    Breakfast
    On due time, we will be driven to the airport to board the flight to the next destination.
