Discover the city in the Lima style with a local person who will show you the most representative attractions and the places that are outside the classic tourist route.
Days before your arrival you will contact your friend via WhatsApp, so you meet each other.
You can let him surprise you with the main places of the city or tell him about your preferences so they can develop a tailor-made proposal, based on what you like and thus have an unforgettable experience.

Day 3: Lima, Cusco, Sacred Valley

At the scheduled time, you will be transferred to the airport to board your departure flight (private service ).

Upon your arrival, you will meet your representative at the Cusco airport and then you will be transfer to Hacienda Sarapampa which is the place where the biggest corn from Cusco grew up. We will be able to visit its facilities and have lunch.
Then, you will continue to Ollantaytambo, one of the most representative architectural complexes of the Inca Empire and site of one of the Spanish Conquistadors’ rare strategic defeats. Famous for its terraced fields, Ollantaytambo was a very effective fortress, that also served as a temple.

Day 4: Sacred Valley – Machu Picchu – Cusco

Transfer from your hotel in the Sacred Valley to Ollantaytambo train station (private service).
Luggage transfer from the hotel in the Valley to Cusco hotel. Important note: Luggage on the train is max 5kg due to the train company policies.
At schedule time board the Vistadome Train (shared service).
You will meet your representative upon your arrival to the Aguas Calientes train station. He will be waiting for you with a sign with your name, then you will be assisted to the bus station, which is located some blocks from the train station.

MACHU PICCHU VISIT WITH LOCAL GUIDE (2.5 hours approximately)
A visit to one of the most important tourist destinations in the world: Machu Picchu. You will start the ascent to the ruins, which will without a doubt be one of your most unforgettable experiences. At Machu Picchu you can see every part of one of the Seven Modern Wonders of the World, relax and take some impressive photos.
Then you will take the bus back to Aguas Calientes (25minutes ride – shared service).Lunch at local restaurant include.
In the afternoon, you will board the train vistadome for the return trip to Cusco.
Upon arriving at the station, you will be driven to your hotel in the city of Cusco (private service).
Important note: Ollantaytambo station is located 02hrs from Cusco.

Day 5: Cusco
HALF DAY – CITY TOUR CUSCO (Koricancha & Sacsayhuaman) + WORKSHOP ON ACRILYC PAINTING (private)
You will leave your hotel to do a City Tour of Cusco, also known as the Imperial City and declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. You will begin your tour in the Koricancha Temple, an ancient Inca palace and center of worship of the Sun God, on which the Dominican order built a church, which remains standing until today. You will continue ascending to the Sacsayhuaman Fortress, an imposing sample of Inca military architecture. Finally, you will be able to have a great experience having been the artisan of your own unique pieces of art The Andes Guardians you choose will be crafted using your own two hands and painted with the guidance of recognized local artists who will assist you through the process using authentic techniques of Cusquenian art. You will participate in all the processes of Colonial Cusquenian Glass Ceramics (enameling, and painting) by crafting a traditional torito and caballito (little bull and horse) of Pucará in a contemporary manner using lamina of brass, aluminum, and acrylic.

Day 6: Cusco – Puno

FROM CUSCO TO PUNO
(private service -Lunch included).
A transport will pick you up from your hotel to begin the trip towards Puno. Along the way, you will enjoy the astounding landscapes of Cusco’s South Valley, a route that connected Lake Titicaca with the capital of the Inca Empire. Arrive at the village of Quea, two hours away from Cusco, where you will begin with a 2.54km trek towards the great Inca Trail. Members of the Inka Roots Experiential Tourism Association will be your local guides and they will share with you some of their traditions and local legends, as you walk along this millenary path. You will arrive at Raqchi where you will discover the imposing temple of Wiracocha, dedicated to the Andean god, and enjoy a delicious lunch prepared by locals. After lunch, you will walk for another 20 minutes across Qhapac Ñan until you reach Chaskiwasi, where the transport will be waiting to take you towards Lake Titicaca.

Day 7: Puno – Copacabana – Sun Island

FROM PUNO TO MAGICAL SUN ISLAND
(private service – Lunch included).
Today, we will travel the route from Puno (Peru) to Sun Island (Bolivia). On the way, we will visit Juli, also known as little Rome where the 16th century colonial churches are located: Saint Peter and Saint John with an impressive collection of paintings from colonial times and the “Cusco school”. Afterwards, we will go to Pomata where the wonderful church of Santiago Apostol is located, carved in stone.Following the route, we will cross the border with Bolivia in Kasani. We will arrive in Copacabana and visit its incredible church with the famous “Black Madonna”. Here, we will stroll in the town and then take a private boat to Sun Island.
After lunch, (atypical “Apthapi“) we will continue the trip to the ruins of the Inca temple of Pilkokaina and then we will make a pleasant walk to La Estancia Ecolodge with wonderful views of Lake Titicaca and the Royal Andes Range.
The Apthapi is a celebration where food is shared. The name comes from the Aymara language and means “to bring”. Each person of the community brings a food (potatoes, fish, corn, cheese, etc.) and shares it among all the guests accompanied by delicious peppers.

TEXTILE ACTIVITY
(private service)
Don’t miss a beautiful sunrise! After breakfast, we will start with the textile activity. A group of three artisan women dressed in their traditional attire show up with their tools and materials. They will show and interpret local textile art for the elaboration of handicraft products through various techniques such as loom with stakes or macramé. After the activity, we will hike to Yumani and visit the Garden of the Incas where the famous Fountain of Youth is located. We continue by boat to visit the Island of the Moon and the Inca ruins of the Iñak Uyu temple.

Next, by boat back to Copacabana and transport to La Paz. On the way, we will make a stop to hop on the blue and red cable car lines and have great views of the city of the alto.

Day 9: La Paz – Uyuni – Jirira

UYUNI EXPERIENCE (private)
Visit the Train Cemetery, this place is known for the remains of steam locomotives that have persisted since the 19th and 20th centuries. Later, in Colchani we will observe the salt extraction methods used by the local people.
Then, we will enter the incredible Salar de Uyuni, with more than 10,500 km2 of pure salt.
Unique experiences like having lunch in the middle of the salt flats await us!
Afterwards, we will head north where Kachi Lodge is located, at the foot of the Tunupa volcano. Enjoy a beautiful sunset where the different colors that paint the sky can be appreciated making a magnificent landscape. Taste a gourmet dinner made only with Bolivian ingredients. To end the day we will be able to see a magical show of stars in one of the clearest skies.

Day 10: Jirira – Uyuni – Colchani

FULL DAY UYUNI (private)
We will start the day with a delicious breakfast in the main dome of the lodge. Afterwards, we will visit the pre-Columbian fortress Pucara de Ayque and the nearby chullpares that lie at the foot of the Tunupa volcano.
We will continue our journey to Incahuasi Island, which is a unique oasis and isolated ecosystem that is populated by giant cactuses up to 10 meters high, amazing!
We will again enjoy a beautiful sunset in the middle of the salt flats to say goodbye to one of the most beautiful views that will remain in your memory. After sunset, it is time to head to Colchani where the world’s first salt hotel is located.

Day 11: Uyuni – La Paz

CITY TOUR LA PAZ (private service)
We will enjoy a beautiful tour of La Paz, chosen as one of the seven wonders cities of the world. Start in the center visiting the main square: Plaza Murillo where the Government Palace and the National Congress are located.
Continue towards the traditional Jaén street and then visit the Museum of Ethnography and Folklore (MUSEF), which has a wide collection of pre-Hispanic, colonial and contemporary relics. Then, we will visit the famous Witches Market where we will find handicrafts, textiles and witchcraft products. As a last stop in the colonial part, we will go to the Basilica of San Francisco that dates from the 18th century. To end the tour, take an impressive a cable car ride to the southern area of the city and visit the Valley of the Moon, famous for its rock formation product of the erosion.
GASTRONOMIC EXPERIENCE (private)
At night, we will have a gastronomic experience in one of the best restaurants in Bolivia: “Gustu”. Here, we will have a cooking class with local ingredients and end the activity with a three-course menu with wine pairing.

You will visit four districts, engaging in different activities that will help you discover the best of Lima: Miraflores, Barranco, Chorrillos and San Isidro. First, you will participate in a pisco sour tasting guided by a professional bartender, while you enjoy the beautiful scenery of the coast of Lima. Drinks will be complemented with gourmet Amazonian appetizers, as well as a special pisco made with exotic jungle fruit. You will also prepare an Amazonian ceviche with the most high-quality ingredients. You will visit the restaurant at the Museum of Pre-Columbian Art (MAP), located in the beautiful patio of a colonial house. You will take part in a gastronomic class inside its kitchen, where you will learn about the preparation of the best dishes in Andean food. Then, you will enter the museum to appreciate its fabulous collection of pre-Columbian art. Finally, enjoy a delicious dinner or lunch in a sophisticated and cozy atmosphere.

Coffee tour: Start with a welcome drink and a short introductory video of Agricafé. Then, visit “La Luna”, the highest coffee mill in the world to see the processing plant. We will do a coffee tasting or “cupping” to learn about the different aromas and flavors (3-4 different types). Finally, we will have free time to buy different products related to coffee.

Shoeshiners tour: A different visit to the popular areas of La Paz, guided by a shoeshiner, who will give us different impressions of this unique city. We start at the Red Line of the cable car, and we will go down at the General Cemetery for a brief visit, then we continue walking towards the “Fish Market”, the “Flower Market” and the “Uruguay Market” where you can see a variety of local elements. We continue along Eloy Salmón Street, full of shops that offer technological products and we finish until we reach the “Cholitas Market” where you can see them buying traditional skirts and blankets.

Modern La Paz: Have a guided tour of Beatriz Canedo Patiño’s atelier. This alpaca clothing brand is known worldwide for its quality and fine finish. We will enjoy an aperitif during the visit. Then, visit the private art gallery of the famous Bolivian artist Gastón Ugalde: “El Salar” that shows the work of local artists through paintings and sculptures. Finally, we will go to the Gin La República distillery to learn how this Andean gin is made.
