Belo Horizonte was the first capital of the country to be built upon an urban plan. It is the sixth most populous city in Brazil, very progressive, with a modern architecture.Departure in the morning towards the Pampulha Complex, a special area with projects of Oscar Niemeyer architect, an Unesco World Heritage. The visit includes the Art Museum and the Sao Francisco church. Then we head to Pope Square and the lookout point with a stop for pictures. Buffet lunch will be served in a typical restaurant. Then continue to Liberty Square, a booming cultural center, finishing the tour at the Central Market, the best spot to buy local products, goodies, and handicraft. Return to hotel in the afternoon.
