Chiclayo has become one of the main important sites for archaeology. Along its territory, new pre-Hispanic remains are still being discovered with relative frequency to simply amaze the world, like the impressive tombs of the Lord of Sipán and the Lady of Cao.

It is also known as the city of Endless Spring because of its semi-tropical weather that allows all visitors to enjoy the Sun almost all year round. Its colorful colonial structures are its main stamp and it gives this noble atmosphere to this city full of traditions.
DISCOVER TRUJILLO & CHICLAYO

DAY 1 TRUJILLO
Upon our arrival in Trujillo, we will be contacted by the local staff that will assist with luggage and will drive us to the Hotel for check-in procedures.
In the afternoon, we will head towards the Brujo Archaeological Complex and Museum, named after the polychrome friezes on its walls. In the surrounding areas a pre-Inca cemetery to be discovered. Then we will visit the Lady of Cao Complex in which we could see this well-preserved mummy, discovered a few years ago, and possible ruler of the Moche culture.
Overnight in Trujillo.DAY 2 TRUJILLO-CHAN-CHAN

Full Day Sun & Moon Huacas – Dragon – Chan Chan – Huanchaco
We will leave the city to visit the famous Sun and Moon Huacas that were the center of power of the Moche Culture and where built one in front the other, showing the duality ancient Peruvian believed. The Moon Huaca has eleven adobe platforms and it was built apparently for religious purposes. Just in front, it is the Sun Huaca, considered the tallest mood pyramid in Peru that would have fulfilled administrative purposes. Afterwards, we will visit Huaca Dragon also known as Huaca Arco Iris (Rainbow) which has different terraces and courtyards decorated with beautiful reliefs. Then, we will head to Chan Chan considered the largest city made of mood in the whole continent. We will finalize the tour visiting the beach of Huanchaco, where it is possible to see fishermen still using Caballitos de Totora (reed kayaks) in their daily activities.

FULL DAY visiting to Royal Tombs of Sipan and the Sipan Museum, where you can see the pieces of the treasure that belonged to the Lord of Sipan.

On due time, we will be driven to the airport to board the flight to our next destination.
