JACK’S CAMP

Makgadikgadi Pans | Sep 24 | 2020 | No Comment

Jack’s Camp is located deep in the Kalahari Desert on the edge of the Makgadikgadi Pans, a huge expanse of salt pans, 10 green roomy and stylish canvas tents have been fashioned in classical style and are set into a palm grove creating an oasis of civilization in what can be the harshest of stark environments.

Guests can spend time in the tea tent, relax in the pool pavilion or watch the sunset in the drinks tent. A safari to Jack’s Camp is a complete desert experience focusing on species unique to the area such as aardvark, gemsbuck and springbuck. It is the only place where guests are virtually guaranteed to see the rare and elusive brown hyaena and be able to walk through the Kalahari with a gang of habituated but, wild meerkats!
