A great hike near to Cafayate is along the Rio Colorado, where hiking through beautiful scenery, you will reach waterfalls. Following the river upstream, you will get to a 10m waterfall, where you can swim. There’s a second waterfall and further cascades further up.

Cafayate that is surrounded by vineyards where the famous Torrontés white wine produced. In this village we will find many industrialized wineries that can be visited, and others that still make wine with the old-fashioned methods.
