The Maracana stadium is one of Rio´s main attractions, a huge icon of the city. It was completely renovated for the World Cup and the Summer Olympics games, it is one of the biggest and most important stadiums in the world.
In this tour, participants will have the opportunity to visit the Maracana from a different perspective, inside the backstage areas.
The tour takes approximately 40 minutes and English speaking guides are available. It starts at the foyer with an exhibition of rare items from the soccer History, like the uniform Garrincha used in the 1962 World Cup. Then participants will be taken to the changing room, press room and the final stop is at the field, with the thrilling experience to walk over the grass.
It is available daily from 09:00 to 16:00. Except during days of games, when the hours are more restrict.
