Popularly known as “The Flower’s City”, Holambra, located approximately one hour from São Paulo, it was originally settled by Dutch immigrants. The city still retains many original features, both in terms of its architecture as the economy that is predominantly based on agriculture and tourism. Thus, during this tour, the visitor will be taken to meet some of its main attractions, as the largest windmill in Latin America, the historic village center and may even have lunch in one of its famous restaurants of typical Dutch food (expenses not included).
The highlight will be a monitored visit with a local guide to the beautiful plantations and also the municipal auction’s flowers, widely used during Expoflora, famous regional festival that takes place annually in September.
