Departure from the hotel in Puerto Varas and bordering Lake Llanquihue you will arrive at the base of Ensenada, where after getting the right equipment, the expedition kayaks are collected. Depending on the conditions of tide and wind, different routes are proposed with the posility of starting in the last meanders of the Petrohué River. We will enter the Reloncaví estuary, the first fjord of the South of Chile. Being in the Bay of Ralún where the Petrohué River enters the fjord, with protected navigation conditions ideal to familiarize ourselves with our kayaks. After crossing the peninsula there will be impressive views of the Yates and Hornopirén volcanoes. We take a short stop to go to the house of Mrs. Yolanda who prepares a delicious homemade lunch. If it is cold we will rest next to the wood stove to share a mate with the family. After lunch, you walk through the countryside to enjoy the incredible views provided by the nature. Then, return to the kayaks to continue south at the foot of the foothills of the Alerce Andino National Park and always overlooking the volcanoes. During the afternoon you arrive at the town of Cochamó that hangs between the Andes and the Pacific. Between the lighthouse and the typical wooden church, you will be waiting for the vehicle to return to Puerto Varas.
