Departure from the hotel in Puerto Varas. Trip parallel to Lake Llanquihue, and after approximately 30 minutes, you will arrive at the base in Ensenada, where you will receive a safety talk. After the talk, wetsuits should be used to head to the start of the Petrohué River, which runs through the native forest to the Reloncaví Fjord, surrounded by snow-capped volcanoes such as Osorno, Calbuco and the impressive Puntiagudo. During the crossing, different paddling techniques are practiced before going into action with the first rapids: “Ciao Seco”. The descent is a route of 13 km of continuous fun, full of class III and IV rapids, such as: the “Ese”, “Los Pollos”, “Queso Suizo” and “El Nadador” among others. On the route there are many waves that ensure entertainment, and there will be some stops to climb the cliffs and then jump into the clear waters of the river. After 2 hours of the route, you arrive at the landing point, where you change clothes and then return to the base where you can enjoy a craft beer and a delicious snack, before returning to Puerto Varas.
