Description: The starting point of this excursion is Rancho Totem (Totem ranch) where visitors will receive the necessary gear and instructions for the horse ride. Once equipped, riders will be taken through the fascinating rock sculptures of the Valle de la Muerte (valley of death) also known as Valle de Marte (valley of Mars). The unique rock formations and absolute desert like landscape, where no plants or insects have survived, is absolutely awesome. Exploring the area, visitors will observe how this absolute hostile environment is capable of offering a feast of colors and forms that seem to have a life of their own. End of excursion and return to hotel.
