The tour starts from the hotel, heading to Talabre, where you will visit the Quebrada de Quesala, a beautiful canyon carved by the ancestors of the current Atacameños (Culture Likan Antai) in the form of impressive petroglyphs that tell us about the epic path traveled by this millenary culture. Then the tour continues through the most important archaeological sites in the region, which will bring them closer to the origin of lican antai culture. The first stop will be the Pucará de Quitor, important for the history of Chile, by the Battle of Quitor in 1540, one of the first clashes between Spaniards and Indians. The passage through the Atacameña Farm will allow the visitor to share with a local family that combines ancestral traditions of agriculture and livestock with tourism, tasting local products. The second stop will be the Aldea de Tulor, the oldest settlement of the Salar de Atacama, between 800 BC and 500 AD. And the last stop will be to the center of San Pedro de Atacama, to travel in time to the time of the Colony, where they will visit the Church of San Pedro, a National Monument built in 1745 in adobe, cactus wood, chañar and carob tree.
