Highlights: Upsala glacier – Estancia Cristina – Museum. From Puerto bandera, 50 km from El Calafate, the tour starts boarding a modern and comfortable boat towards the Upsala, the second largest glacier in South America, at Los Glaciares National Park that then sails through the Cristina Channel. Once at the estancia of the same name, passengers walk by the Caterina river and visit the old sheep shearing facilities, now turned into a museum, the chapel and the ranch’s main house.
