Welcome to Cusco! Upon arrival, you will be assisted at the airport and transferred to your selected hotel.

HALF DAY CITY TOUR AND ARCHAEOLOGICAL SITES NEAR CUSCO (SHARED BASIS)
You will explore the city of Cusco, also known as the Imperial City and declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. You will walk its streets where time seems to have stopped, where every corner tells a story. You will visit the Koricancha Temple, an ancient Inca palace and center of worship to the Sun God, on which the Dominican order built a church, which remains standing to this day. You will continue ascending to the Sacsayhuaman Fortress, an impressive example of Inca military architecture. Afterwards, you will visit other places of importance within the Inca culture, such as the archaeological site of Qenko. Finally, you will arrive at the Plaza de Armas (main square), where you will visit the Cathedral, the most important Catholic temple in the city.

FULL DAY – LIVING THE AUTHENTIC SACRED VALLEY (SHARED BASIS)
You will tour the Sacred Valley of the Incas, discovering its fascinating culture, surrounded by majestic mountains. You will visit a small and picturesque Andean town, where you will explore an important Inca archaeological site and learn about the local history. Afterwards, you will pause at a local restaurant for a delicious lunch. Then, you will continue to Ollantaytambo, one of the most representative architectural complexes of the Inca Empire and site of one of the Spanish Conquistadors’ rare strategic defeats. Famous for its terraced fields, Ollantaytambo was a very effective fortress, that also served as a temple.

At the scheduled time, you will be transferred from your Cusco hotel to the Ollantaytambo train station.
FULL DAY MACHU PICCHU TOUR WITH SHARED LOCAL GUIDE – EXPEDITION SERVICE
A visit to one of the most important tourist destinations in the world: Machu Picchu. The excursion starts with a train trip to the town of Aguas Calientes, also known as Machu Picchu Pueblo. The natural beauty of the surroundings makes the train the best way to start your visit. When you arrive, you will start the ascent to the ruins, which will without a doubt be one of your most unforgettable experiences. At Machu Picchu you can see one of the Seven Modern Wonders of the World and take some impressive photos. Finally, you return to Aguas Calientes, board the train for the return journey and transfer to your hotel.
At the scheduled time, you will be transferred from the Ollantaytambo station to your Cuzco hotel.
