Upon our arrival in Cusco, we will meet the local staff and will be transferred to the hotel for check-in procedures. Time for relax and acclimate to the altitude. In the afternoon, we will tour around the former capital of the Inca Empire. During this half day tour, we will visit Korikancha or Temple of Sun where we will find one of the best samples of the ability of the Incas working the stone. We will continue to the Cathedral that shelters priceless pieces of colonial art.

Afterwards, we will head to the monuments that surround the city. On a hill overlooking Cusco, Sacsayhuaman is an impressive fortress built using massive rocks that were taken from a nearby quarry. We will continue to the sites of Qenqo, Puca Pucara

Today, we will visit the archaeological complex of Pisac is hidden among the mountains of the Sacred Valley of the Incas. We will walk around its different sectors amongst which stand temples, towers, spectacular terraces and the Intihuatana or Solar clock finely carved in stone.

Later, we will visit the famous market located in the town of Pisac, where the color and flavor of its products perfectly combines with the happiness of its people avid to share their culture with all visitors.

On due time, we will be transferred to train station to board the train to Machu Picchu. Along the route, we will enjoy amazing Andean views while it integrates itself into the cloud forest.

We will first arrive in the town of Machu Picchu, formerly known as Aguas Calientes where we will meet our local guide and altogether will take the shuttle bus that will transfer us to the Citadel of Machu Picchu, without doubts, the best proof of the perfection of the Inca ability working the stone. It has different sectors such as the urban, religious, and farming.

At the end of our tour, we will descend to the town to enjoy our lunch at Café Inkaterra restaurant.
Later, we will board the train back to Cusco. Upon arrival, we will be transferred to our hotel for check-in procedures.

On due time, we will be transferred to the airport to board the flight to Lima, where we will meet the local staff and will be transferred to the hotel for check-in procedures.

In the afternoon, we will head to Miraflores, the perfect point to enjoy views of the bay and the Pacific Ocean and where it is perfectly combined the modernity of its constructions with the legacy of ancient Peruvian like the pre-Hispanic site of Pucllana (panoramic view). We will continue around downtown Lima and its more important architectural constructions from the viceroyalty period including the Government Palace and the Cathedral (panoramic view.

Then, we will visit Santo Domingo – built on XVI century, it was the first temple and convent built by Dominicans in Lima. Its architectural beauty is based on a mix of baroque, rococo, Moorish and gothic styles.
