Day 1: Lima

HALF DAY EXCURSION: LIMA FIRST HAND (meeting of 3 hours)
Discover the city in the Lima style with a local person who will show you the most representative attractions and the places that are outside the classic tourist route.

Days before your arrival you will contact your friend via WhatsApp, so you meet each other.
You can let him surprise you with the main places of the city or tell him about your preferences so they can develop a tailor-made proposal, based on what you like and thus have an unforgettable experience.

Day 3: Lima, Cusco, Sacred Valley

At the scheduled time, you will be transferred to the airport to board your departure flight (private service ).

*Flight: Lima – Cusco (Not included)

Upon your arrival, you will meet your representative at the Cusco airport and then you will be transfer to Hacienda Sarapampa which is the place where the biggest corn from Cusco grew up. We will be able to visit its facilities and have lunch.

Then, you will continue to Ollantaytambo, one of the most representative architectural complexes of the Inca Empire and site of one of the Spanish Conquistadors’ rare strategic defeats. Famous for its terraced fields, Ollantaytambo was a very effective fortress, that also served as a temple.

Day 4: Sacred Valley – Machu Picchu – Cusco

Breakfast 

Transfer from your hotel in the Sacred Valley to Ollantaytambo train station (private service). 

Luggage transfer from the hotel in the Valley to Cusco hotel.  Important note: Luggage on the train is max 5kg due to the train company policies. 

At schedule time board the Vistadome Train (shared service). 

You will meet your representative upon your arrival to the Aguas Calientes train station. He will be waiting for you with a sign with your name, then you will be assisted to the bus station, which is located some blocks from the train station.

MACHU PICCHU VISIT WITH LOCAL GUIDE (2.5 hours approximately)

A visit to one of the most important tourist destinations in the world: Machu Picchu. You will start the ascent to the ruins, which will without a doubt be one of your most unforgettable experiences. At Machu Picchu you can see every part of one of the Seven Modern Wonders of the World, relax and take some impressive photos.

Then you will take the bus back to Aguas Calientes (25minutes ride – shared service).Lunch at local restaurant include.

In the afternoon, you will board the train vistadome for the return trip to Cusco. 

Upon arriving at the station, you will be driven to your hotel in the city of Cusco (private service).

Important note: Ollantaytambo station is located 02hrs from Cusco.

Day 5: Cusco

HALF DAY – CITY TOUR CUSCO (Koricancha & Sacsayhuaman) + WORKSHOP ON ACRILYC PAINTING (private) 

You will leave your hotel to do a City Tour of Cusco, also known as the Imperial City and declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. You will begin your tour in the Koricancha Temple, an ancient Inca palace and center of worship of the Sun God, on which the Dominican order built a church, which remains standing until today. You will continue ascending to the Sacsayhuaman Fortress, an imposing sample of Inca military architecture. Finally, you will be able to have a great experience having been the artisan of your own unique pieces of art The Andes Guardians you choose will be crafted using your own two hands and painted with the guidance of recognized local artists who will assist you through the process using authentic techniques of Cusquenian art. You will participate in all the processes of Colonial Cusquenian Glass Ceramics (enameling, and painting) by crafting a traditional torito and caballito (little bull and horse) of Pucará in a contemporary manner using lamina of brass, aluminum, and acrylic.

INKATERRA RESERVA AMAZONICA PACKAGE (4D/3N – group tour – shared service)

DAY 1:

You will be picked up and welcomed in Puerto Maldonado and from the first moment you will feel the spell of the jungle, taking a boat tide for 45 minutes up the Madre de Dios River to the Inkaterra Amazon Reserve. After a brief

presentation you will enjoy a nice lunch with ingredients from the region, followed by time for a nap and a nice tea while meeting with your guide to discuss and choose your excursions during your stay. On the first day the recommendation is to take a guided walk through the rainforest on the trail network that surrounds the lodge. Here you will discover the beauty, complexity and fragility of the ecosystem and will have the opportunity to bird watch and encounter some exotic insects. For the first night the recommendation is a night river excursion, where you will witness the transformation from the daytime world to the nighttime world. Birds and other daytime animals begin to settle down for the night and give way to the species specially adapted for nocturnal life. While you are enjoying nature around you, be alert for the appearance of nightjars, owls, capybaras and large caimans. Later you will enjoy dinner served in the main dining room and you can head back to your cabin early or join a talk about the experience of living in the jungle while listening to the intriguing nocturnal sounds of the jungle.

Day 7: Puerto Maldonado

DAY 2:

If you are an early riser or prefer to sleep in, you can choose a plan for the day that fits your preference, in any case the day begins with a lovely breakfast buffet. During the morning you can take an excursion to Lake Sandoval in the Tambopata National Reserve. Paddle in a wooden canoe on the lake, home to many endangered species, such as the Giant River Otter, Red Howler Monkeys, Red-bellied Macaw, anacondas and the Yellow-spotted Sideneck Turtle. Head back to Inkaterra Amazon Reserve for lunch. In the afternoon the recommendation is to visit the Inkaterra Canopy, a 29 meters tall observation tower where you can see many species that live in the high canopy of the forest. Next you can take the Anaconda Hike, where you will walk for 30 minutes along 200 meters of wooden bridges over the marsh, looking for anacondas. If you wish, you can extend the excursion to watch the sunset in one of the canopy towers. Once back at the lodge you will have the opportunity to see a nature presentation in the Eco Center, followed by dinner.

Day 8: Puerto Maldonado

Day 3: After breakfast explore the jungle for an hour and a half, following the Gamitana Ravine, home to piranhas, caimans, turtles and birds, until arriving to Sanipanga. Float on the river and enjoy the abundant flora and fauna of the tropical jungle. Visit Gamitana, a model ranch of the Amazon. Return to Inkaterra Amazon Reserve for lunch. After lunch, you will go on an excursion to Hacienda Concepción, with the possibility to see more than 200 different species of plants and learn about their uses and benefits. Next, take a 30-minute canoe ride to look for turtles, nightjars and exotic herons. Your excursion continues into the night with a night walk on the Ecological Reserve trail network around the lodge. You will enter the secondary forest and experience the mystery of animal activity that awakens in the jungle at sunset. Listen to the nocturnal sounds of the forest and discover species that only emerge in the darkness of the night. Return to the lodge for dinner and rest.

Day 9: Puerto Maldonado – Lima

DAY 4:

Enjoy a full breakfast before leaving. Enjoy a 45-minute boat ride on the Madre de Dios River, back to Puerto Maldonado where you will visit the Butterfly House. Peru has the largest variety of butterflies in the world, with 3,700 known species. Then take your flight to Lima.

BARRANCO BY NIGHT

Discover the bohemian district of Barranco and its traditional Bridge of Sighs. This is followed by a cocktail lesson at the magic hotel B.
